The Cloud Library application is an innovative way to browse, borrow and read popular fiction and nonfiction eBooks from your local public library. The Cloud Library is available for any device that can install apps. This includes: iPhones, iPads, Android devices, Nooks, and Kindle Fires. You may also download the app to your computer.
Using the app is fairly simple for most devices. Once installed, you will need to access the Portneuf Library’s ebooks by choosing the country and state you live in and then selecting “LCEI.” The Cloud Library will then ask you to log in by using your 14 digit library barcode (no spaces) and a 4 digit password. Your default password should be the last 4 digits of your phone number. If this does not work, please contact the library and we can reset it for you. Look in your app store for the Cloud Library app. |
The Portneuf District Library is part of the Idaho Digital Consortium which provides users access to Overdrive. Overdrive is an e-book and e-audio platform and is available on any device that can install apps through the app store, as well as can be used in a web browser HERE. Patrons can download the Libby by Overdrive app and log in using their 14-digit library barcode (without spaces) and their 4-digit password. Your default password should be the last 4 digits of the phone number with which you registered for a library card. If this does not work, please contact the library and we can reset it for you.
